Progress on an animated Bone movie (or trilogy) is moving forward, with a writer, director, and studio attached to the project.

Not sure how to feel that the studio is the same one that brought us Happy Feet and Legend of the Guardians, though…

I guess at least that means more jobs for Australian animators?

Poppin’ this up on your dashes so other Bone fans will get to know about it, too. If you haven’t heard of Bone - go and introduce yourself to it, it’s one of the most breathtakingly beautiful and original fantasy comics you’ll ever see.

(Incidentally, Jeff Smith was one of the biggest influences that made me want to go study animation in the first place. I am very nervous about this film.)
